Dental Prostheses

We can replace lost teeth with two types of prosthesis:

Fixed prosthesis: The patient can not withdraw from the mouth. The support pillars are needed; Can be dental pieces or implants.

It is made with noble or semi-precious metals and dental porcelain.

Removable prosthesis: It is the one that the same patient can remove from the mouth.

Depending on the case it can be manufactured in two ways:

  1. A metal structure on which the teeth are supported and to which welded retainers or hooks to fasten the structure to the remaining parts of the mouth.
  2. Resin structure that fits perfectly to the contour of the gingiva and attaches to it when there is a vacuum between the surface of the prosthesis and the surface of the mucosa of the mouth.
